“Run! The Darkness is here!” screamed an elderly man. “My child! Help my child!” cried a young women. A great void appeared as if out of nowhere. The people of the small town named Alikris ran screaming in terror. Trees were torn up by the roots, sending rocks, small houses, and people flying. Most of the shelters the people made to get ready for the Darkness were destroyed instantly. Others were pulled up by the strong, forceful wind and torn to peices. Screaming came from everywhere. Suddenly…LIGHT! “Huh?
Wha…what happened?” said Aden. “It’s okay, it’s okay.” said a soothing voice. Aden looked around. His shelf was still there. He jumped up quickly to look out his oval like window. His house was still in place. “Honey what’s wrong?” asked his mother. “Nothing. It’s just nothing.” Aden said sullenly.
Just my luck thought Aden. If I explain to mom what I saw, she’ll probably
say ‘Oh it’s just a dream. It’s not real.’ Then she’ll end up telling every grown up in town, who will tell all their children. Then I’ll get made fun of by everybody.
